Eryn Slankster, MS, PhD
Eryn is a postdoctoral fellow in our lab. She received her M.S. in Molecular Biology and Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Oakland University. Eryn enjoys the outdoors, rock climbing and cooking
David is a graduate student working on his PhD in neuroscience. His background includes synaptophysiology, confocal microscopy, and immunohistochemistry. His current research interests include optogenetics and electrophysiology. David is a renaissance man. His hobbies include fencing, hiking, working on cars, learning new languages, drawing, painting, and riding his motorcycle among many others.
Seth Odell is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Neuroscience. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with honors. His hobbies include building and painting models, and reading.
Alina is a Russian Fulbright scholar, graduate student from the University of Moscow. In her free time she enjoys film, photography, music and watching local bands perform. One day she hopes to live in Seattle.
Donovan is a third year student at the University of Nevada, Reno studying neuroscience. He is currently enrolled in the honors program, and served as an ASUN senator for Interdisciplinary Programs. Donovan has been accepted medical school and plans to go next Fall. In his free time, Donovan is often camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, or enjoying his time in the pre-medical fraternity Phi Delta Epsilon.
Alexandra is an undergraduate student and a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno studying Neuroscience. During her time outside of the lab she enjoys making YouTube videos, watching movies, and traveling. She hopes to go to the University of Nevada School of Medicine and become a doctor.
Cammie is a second year undergraduate student studying Neuroscience at the University of Nevada. Reno. Although she enjoys working in the lab, she also likes to serve her time as an eBoard member of the American Medical Student Association and TriBeta, the new biological honor society on campus. Outside of her studies, she enjoys learning how to cook ethnic dishes, Polynesian dancing, and going to music festivals. In the future, she hopes to pursue medical school to become a doctor.
Hunter is an undergraduate student at the University studying science. He works on tracking larvae and electrophysiology.
